About Us
The pods are situated on land owned for four generations by the Buckley family, near the town of Llanfair Caereinion. The family took over the farm four generations ago, in 1914.
Charlotte and Allen, who now run the family farm, took over Tyn y Celyn in 2017 and opened Brook Valley Glamping in 2022.
Location
Our pods are located in the countryside, less than 5 minutes away from the town of Llanfair Caereinion (Postcode - SY21 0DQ).
In the town you can find three pubs, a fish and chip shop, a butchers, two shops, a petrol station, a garage and a cafe, located at the steam railway station.
The larger towns of Welshpool and Newtown are also close by, both have supermarkets.
Pod Construction
Our pods were completed in the autumn of 2022, in time to open in late October.
The stone used was quarried on the farmland and used throughout the site as the base and paths.
The four names Oak, Elm, Beech and Chestnut take their names from tress that grow in the vicinity of the site.
